Jacket, Jeans & Boots: Zara / Tank Top: Topshop / Bag: Alexander Wang

I am not ashamed in admitting that I'm a notorious clothes repeat offender. In fact, I thrive on repeating clothes to get me through a hectic work week, or month. When your brain is all mush from overuse and stress, it's challenging to produce a decent outfit on a daily basis. And when I'm stuck in a fashion rut, I tend to gravitate towards familiar pieces that I can wear over and over again. I've worn every piece in this casual ensemble multiple times, in different style permutations. A great-fitting black motorcycle jacket (real or faux), a nice black camisole and a hardworking pair of chunky boots can give your wardrobe great mileage. So never ditch the basics. They're called basics for a reason.

I hope y'all are doing great! Cheers!

Sweater & Boots: Zara / Bag: Alexander Wang / Hat: F21

This lovely grey Zara jumper had me at "hello" with its luxe knit material, turtleneck design and zippers. Since I'm a sucker for sweater dresses, I deliberately ordered this piece in the largest size available (but I had to wear shorts underneath, of course, to avoid mooning someone over!). I actually wore this ensemble to a special photo shoot session with talented young photographer, Bjorn Bedayo. The photo/s from this shoot will be part of Bjorn's #KalsadaPH project -- a photo documentation of Filipino street style from all over the Philippines (which will eventually be published into a book!). Props to Bjorn for coming up with this wonderful concept!

Watch out for the launch of Kalsada.PH in January 2014!
