Decadent

I have a recurring obsession with decadent statement necklaces and these lovely gems from Mauve can definitely liven up the most monotonous of outfits.

Ooh-la-la...check out these pieces as well:

Pink Floyd

T-Shirt: Street Beat Boutique / Pants: Silence & Noise (Urban Outiftters) / Boots: Jeffrey Campbell / Bangles: Mauve / Necklace: FRKRS / Bag: Designerati

I've been on the hunt for a legit-looking worn-out band shirt for quite a long time now (most of the band shirts I see in stores or online are actually quite shitty) so when I saw this Pink Floyd shirt at the St. James Bazaar, my eyes lit up and I was smiling from ear to ear. Not only does this shirt have the worn-out feel I was looking for, it also features Pink Floyd! Pink Floyd is probably one of most iconic rock groups of our lifetime (go Google them up). I was feeling a bit hippie with this band shirt on so I decided to dial up the hippie look with a pair of full-on velvet bell bottoms (wore this to BU3). Threw in the trusty wide-brimmed fedora, some badass Mauve arm swag and I was ready, once again, for my music fest date.

In other news, the new year is fast approaching (one more day to go! woot!)! 2012 was a blast but I'm wishing 2013 will be a whole lot kick ass! Passing on this wish to you guys, too! Cheers!

Shirt: Romwe / Jacket, Skirt, Earrings: F21 / Wedges: Finsk / Clutch: Tonic / Bracelets: Mauve / Cube Ring: Gold Dot

Went for a clean and minimalist look for Day 2 of Bloggers United 4. I initially wanted to go white all the way (white shoes, white accessories) but for fear of looking too "clinical", I decided to add some brown accents via my Finsk wedges and a leopard print clutch. The Romwe shirt I'm wearing here is quite interesting as it has a long U-shaped hem -- it will definitely work well as an undershirt when paired with logo tees and sweaters.

Lately, I've been addicted to large and chunky statement crystal earrings. For me, they are the perfect accessories to liven up a mundane outfit. How about you, what's your favorite accessory?

P.S. To all of the readers/guests who dropped by our booth during BU4 and took photos with me, do email me a hi-res copy of our photos. I would love to post them here in my blog.

Dress: Motel Rocks / Boots: CS x Opening Ceremony / Purse: SM Accessories / Bracelets: Mauve

One brand which never fails to amaze me with its great selection of form-fitting dresses in fun prints would have to be Motel Rocks. Take this Zena dress as an example -- the halter cut is flattering on almost any body type and the print (which reminds me of a Chinese porcelain vase) is striking enough to stand out on its own that you don't need to add any other accessories, save for a few bangles or a pair of statement earrings. Agree? :)

Check out some of Motel Rock's bodycon dresses HERE.

P.S. As always, don't forget to follow me on Twitter (@kookiebuhain) for regular blog updates!
