Mellow Yellow

Top: F21 / Skirt & Heels: Zara (similar HERE and HERE) / Clutch: Neon Island / Cuff: Pretty Little Blings / Necklace: Mauve

I can't promise you that this skort won't ever appear in this blog again. Obviously, it's a favorite of mine and I'm wringing it for all of its worth (you can say that it's all dried up already). This is actually a backlog post which I forgot to schedule before. Thank goodness I have this post to save me from a probable series of non-existent posts. I'm really having some difficulty packing on outfit posts as the rainy weather is killing my mojo and it's really hard to snap photos in the rain. I'm not a fan of indoor shots (they turn out tacky and grainy) so I need to patiently wait for the right drizzle-less moment to get my outfit shots done. Can you feel my frustration and empathize with my situation (ooh, that rhymed)?

Mo' Marni, Mo' Problems

Skirt: Romwe (black version HERE) / Skirt & Heels: Zara / Top: Sheinside / Earrings: H&M / Wing Cuff: Juicy Couture / Eyewear: Karen Walker / Clutch: Neon Island

My apologies for the sloppy pace in posts. Apart from being preoccupied with work, the rainy season has finally closed in and I've been having difficulty (a.k.a. being lazy) dressing up for the cool, damp weather. I've also immersed myself into reading once again and my free time has been skewed towards devouring the words in the Mortal Instruments series and daydreaming about Jace (I'm a teen trapped in a not-so-womanly body. Haha!). Okay. Now on to the outfit. Yes, it's that infamous white skort again (which you can get at half the price HERE) paired with a resurrected Marni "inspired" shirt and my favorite summer clutch from Neon Island. These photos were actually taken weeks ago, back when the sun was still proudly scowling at us. This might have well been my last summer outfit post. Sigh.

Wall Art

Denim Shirt: Wrangler / Skort & Shoes: Zara / Bag: Alexander Wang / Necklace: Romwe / Eyewear: SM Accessories

My favorite denim shirt makes another appearance. My sole excuse for incessantly reusing this shirt? It just goes with everything (see how I wore it HERE, HERE and HERE). And its lightweight fabric makes it manageable to wear even during the driest of dry days. Wore this ensemble to the launch of Wrangler's Denim Spa jeans -- jeans that can moisturize and smoothen your legs. Amazing, right? I'm definitely getting a pair and I suggest you get a pair (or two) too because the stocks for these Denim Spa jeans are limited!

P.S. How gorgeous is the wall art behind me? I spotted this while inside a cab, on the way back to our office. I'm such a sucker for female-themed artworks and this colorful graffiti served as a nice backdrop for my simple outfit. Kudos to the artist who created this obra.

Drive

Jacket: H&M / Skort: Zara / Top: Romwe / Bag: Alexander Wang / Shoes: Mango

Have any of you seen the movie, "Drive"? Aside from the luscious eye-candy that is Ryan Gosling, there's another element in that movie which got my eyee glued onto the screen...Ryan's amazing bomber jacket! It looked so damn badass, especially when paired with those gloves and that toothpick! Haha! The H&M jacket I'm wearing here (which I've already blogged about before) reminds me a bit of Ryan's jacket. Wore this with le Zara skort (again???) to the Bershka Manila grand opening party which was graced by DJ Eve (my new girl crush!) and another eye-candy (and blogger), Pelayo. Will post photos of this fun event soon!

P.S. Come follow me on Instagram (@kookiebuhain) for blog updates and exclusive previews on occurrences on my life
which I don't get to publish here. Ciao!

Origami

Skirt & Boots: Zara / Top: thrifted / Bag: Alexander Wang / Earrings: Love Diva

Was beyond stoked to discover this origami skort in Zara. I've been looking for one since last year! Love, love, love the pockets in this piece! I wanted to pair the skort with a plain white sweater and go the whole nine yards with a white look from head to toe -- but since I had none, alternating blacks and whites would have to do.

And yeah, I can't get enough of mirrored sunglasses.
