Fashion friends who know me well know for a fact that I've got a special place for Alexander Wang inside my heart (and in my closet). When I spotted this sweater from an online thrift shop, my heart did somersaults and I was grinning from ear to ear. The sweater reminded me so much of A. Wang's SS2010 grey dress (with brown leather sleeves) that passing up on it would be just plain stupid. My shopping predator instincts kicked in automatically and I hastily declared the sweater "MINE" before anyone else did. I was beyond stoked that this sweater went home to my loving arms. Thank you, Ukayista, for unearthing this amazing find!

Vertebrae

This amazing top from Ellemel is a product of the bright minds of three UP Clothing Technology students: Sam, Erica & Aien. While it employs a mullet design (which we usually see in other chiffon tops and skirt), the design on the front part is quite unconventional. It buttons on the side, resembling somewhat a chef's white jacket. I've had this top for quite a while and I haven't had the chance to wear it out because I was waiting for the perfect shoes to go with it (a shallow reason, I know). But...I did find the perfect shoes! Say hello to my Vertebrae boots! This pair is a collaboration between Soule Phenomenon and OS Accessories. The heel is an amazing work of art. You Can't Touch This!

Out of all the harem pants that I own, this F21 pair is by far the closest to looking like a real pair of MC Hammer pants. The pants are insanely billowy that it makes me look like a clown somehow. I think I need to have these pants altered a bit. Oh well.

I had a photo shoot last Monday for a feature in the YStyle section of Philippine Star (a top-circulating local newspaper). I arrived at the shoot wearing a fail-safe black ensemble which consisted of a sheer top and faux leather shorts. I was hoping that my JC Litas would arrive a few weeks earlier but since they were a no-show until yesterday, I decided to borrow the Soule Phenomenon lace up boots from my friend Nicole. I really wanted the look of the "Litas" for my shoes because I know it would totally complete the outfit that I came up with for the feature. Other bloggers that are included in the feature are Lissa Kahayon, Hanna Choa Yu of Little Miss Dress Up, Karl Leuterio and Tin Iglesias. I enjoyed the photo shoot so much because I knew most of the bloggers. We were laughing our hearts out the whole time! Our photos were shot by an amazing young photographer (and also a fellow blogger), Tricia Gosingtian.
