Back To Basics

Jeans: Wrangler / Top: Cotton On / Pumps: Stella McCartney / Purse, Lace Bra & Earrings: F21 / Eyewear: Karen Walker / Chain Bracelet: SM Accessories

At times, I prefer dressing down to basics. A plain white tank and a pair of denim jeans are a few of the basic wardrobe building blocks that everyone should consider investing on. As funny as it sounds, I actually collect white tank tops -- there's a variety of them displayed inside my closet (I love wearing them under different types of jackets and in this case, on its own). The same goes for jeans. I have them in varying cuts and washes, with indigo pairs being my favorite. This pair of dark wash Hailey jeans from Wrangler is one of my faves. It felt cool against my skin (props to its Cool Max fabric technology!) even if the sun was throwing its hot summer rays upon me. These Cool Max jeans can also help keep you warm and comfortable under a balmy cold weather come rainy season. "Cool", ain't it?

  1. Nakakainis ang ganda mo girl!!! :) are you using Mac Russian Red lipstick here? nice pants and purse. How much ang pants na yan at stretchable ba? I've never tried Wrangler before pero I should try now kasi Jag and Lee nakakadisppoint habang tumatagal lumuluwag.

    1. Haha! Thank you! I actually wore Mac "Rebel" here but the filter changed the color of the lipstick. The pants are around Php1400, I think. I can't remember the exact price. Yes, they're stretchable! I think most stretchable pants, if not all, really do get loose after you wear them for a few times. I always experience that. The trick though is to get stretch skinny jeans one size smaller so that even if they stretch, they would still fit you well. :)

  8. I'm glad I'm not the only one who collects white tops! I seem to wear my ratty old white t shirt more than any other shirt in my closet. I knew I should have picked up multiples when I bought it. Those jeans sound cool. I'd love to be able to wear jeans in the dead of summer here in Fresno, CA! Love your clutch too! <3
