Floral Remix
Floral prints are very much in season.
The floral top that I’m wearing now is actually a thrifted piece (got it for only $5!) which is very reminiscent of the tops and dresses in Topshop’s latest collection (I love the collection by the way!)
Mixed the top with an acid-washed mini and lace-up boots for a semi-grunge look.
Cheerios!

The top is actually made of a lace-type material. Florals + lace = love!

I'm Back!!!
I'm back, lovelies! Goodness! I've been MIA here in Blogger for almost a year now. If you even care enough to know where I've been...well, I've been spending most of my idle time doing my outfit posts in Chictopia. If you ever want to visit me there, here's the link: www.chictopia.com/deathbyplatforms
So, I'm back with a bang, she-bang!
I got this really lovely (and gigantic!) rose bib necklace from a local shop here in Manila called "Cosmopolitan". Isn't it amazing?
Here's a close-up photo of the necklace:

A Pop of Pink & Yellow

First off, I would just like to call out that I look a little weird in this photo. There’s something odd about that stare. I don’t know what the hell I was thinking when the shutter clicked.
Okay. On to business.
Yesterday, when I had my mani-pedi session, I decided to change route from my usual dark reds and purples and went for some berry color paint. I’m really not used to wearing bright colors but I braved this new world of brights nevertheless.
And as you can see, there’s also a pop of yellow on my semi bodycon dress.
Ahhh. A whole new world unfolds for me.

Fools in the Parking Lot

My friend Jill and I went thriftstore hopping today before hitting the mall for a mani-pedi session. I scored some really nice shit today! I’m so excited about my purchases, I can’t contain myself!
Hahahaha!
I bought tons of skirts, blazers and a cute pair of high-waist culottes. I need to have most of them altered though. Can’t wait to show them off to you guys. Haha!
So today I wore my new lace up sandals and my ever-so-hardworking gray sleeveless knit cardi. I was planning to wear the dress without the tights but it was raining so I had to cover myself up a little from the semi-cold weather.
I always wear casual and comfy pieces when I go out on weekends…especially when I’m at the mall, oggling away at a new pair of shoes and new clothes. It’s just easier that way.

Black on Black
(Barong dress: Duerr; shoes: Zara; tights & socks: from the dept. store)I decided to wear my hair down and leave the unflattering headband in the house. No more fivehead Kookie...at least not today.
I'm wearing this little black Barong dress from Duerr, an online shop which I absolutely love for its interesting and inimitable pieces. And it may not be too obvious in the photo, but I'm wearing black socks over my sheer tights.
I should've worn the grey socks.
