Last Breath of Summer

Monday, June 14, 2010

(dress: Inspired Manila; shoes: Soule Phenomenon; random bowler hat; silver & black cross necklace)

It’s been raining quite hard the past few days but that didn’t stop from donning this 50’s inspired summer dress.

The dress is quite ultra-feminine with it’s sweetheart necklace and halter design. I had to break the sweetness of the dress with an edgy pair of wedges because I don't like looking too girly.

Another Coachella-inspired outfit, you might say. I can’t help it. It’s not a conscious effort though. Maybe i just love to rock and roll to music.

I wore the dress to a very fun night of deli, cheese and wine! You should try out my friend’s Italian Resto, Galileo Enoteca.

Here are some photos:

Cold cuts and cheese platter! Yum!

Pesto with pine nuts...made from the freshest ingredients.

Bittersweet campari.

Red, red wine. Chi-chin!

  15. One of the things I like about you is that you look good (aside from any kind of clothing) with any kind of hat. You seem to pull it off really well. Hats suit your face really well :)
