Sporty

(Jacket, Top, Skirt & Ankle Cuffs: H&M// Shoes: Zara// Bag: Phillip Lim// Cap: F&H// Earrings: F21// Gold Cuff: The Ramp)

Wore this ensemble to Day 3 of Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2012. This look is obviously inspired by the sportswear trend of S/S '12 and completely displays the 'tomboy' side of me. Personally, nothing spells "tomboy" better than a bomber jacket and a trucker cap. The bomber jacket has been on my lust list ever since H&M released their S/S '12 lookbook months ago. I literally jumped (and squealed in silence) when I saw this luxurious satin jacket glistening on the racks of H&M on our last day in Seoul. I think this jacket and I...we were meant to have each other! Haha! I was supposed to pair this jacket with pastel pink jeans but that didn't work as the jeans were at the tailor's for some alterations. And so out came the mint skirt to save the day.

P.S. The veins on my feet are on steroids! Hahahaha!

Bell Bottoms

(Top: Topshop// Heels: Jessica Simpson// Bag: Phillip Lim// Hat: F21// Eyewear: H&M// Ring & Bird Bangle: Envy// Watch: Parfois)

FINALLY. I've been on the hunt for bell bottoms jeans since forever and I've managed to acquire a few pairs recently for a good price. I immediately whipped my favorite pair out of the bunch for a road test and I must say, I'm 100% satisfied with the look and fit. Paired these indigo jeans with an itsy bitsy top that's just perfect for summer. I will always have a soft spot for lace and crochet.

Fluorescent Yellow

(Top: F21// Jeans: Zara// Bag: Phillip Lim Pashli// "Bowie" Pumps: Sugarfree// Cuff & Ring: SM Accessories// Necklace: Ruckus)

Remember when I mentioned here that I'm quite fixated with the color yellow? Here's proof -- another bright and sunny yellow ensemble. It feels quite liberating to digress from my all-black or dark-hued outfits once in a while...and what better way to embrace color than to wear a fluorescent yellow piece! Paired with cheery blue suede pumps, I'm all ready to blow a dust of happy sunshine onto everyone. :)

If you wish to get your hands on a lovely pair of Sugarfree pumps (like mine), you can visit their FB page HERE. Sugarfree is also available in the Young Adults Section of Rustans Makati and Alabang.

Ink Pashli

 3.1 Phillip Lim 'Pashli Tote'

Okay. So initially, I wanted to get the Alexander Wang 'Rocco' bag but I ended up going with Phillip Lim's Pashli tote instead. What I love about this bag is its gorgeous ink color, grooved leather, roomy interior, structured shape, and zipper design. Pashli may not be as rugged-looking as the rocco, but it is actually quite versatile as it can go well with a polished look and with a casual and grungy ensemble as well. This bag would've been perfect if only the handles were longer (for easy shoulder toting). But that's alright. I'm quite used to lugging around short-handled bags that weigh a ton. I don't usually splurge on high-end designer pieces but I think I owe it to myself to get some reward for all of the hard work I've put in (in work and in every aspect of my life) these past couple of years. Expect to see this bag in action in upcoming posts! :)
