Military Prepster

Jacket: Pinkaholic / Skirt: Clothes For The Goddess / Bag: Phillip Lim / Boots: Jeffrey Campbell

Hello. My name is Kookie and I'm a 12th Grader, taking up Military Science.

What the h*ll did I just say??? Please don't mind the gibberish text above. It's a foolish attempt to 'sound' witty. Obviously, I failed. Haha. I just think that my button down shirt + circle skirt pairing makes me look like a student...a preppy rebel student that is. How was your weekend so far, loves? Mine's great. I saw the movie, Upside Down, yesterday and I think I might be suffering from Post Upside Down Syndrome -- my neck feels strained from looking up and from imagining the possibility that things, people and a whole different world can exist above us. Hmmm...

Studded Ombre

Sweater, Pants, Shoes: Zara / Bag: Phillip Lim / Earrings: Diva / Eyewear: Karen Walker / Lips: Mac Russian Red

Oh gawd. I love end-of-season sales.

Just last week, I braved the Zara sale in Rockwell and I was able to walk away victorious. All of the items I was eyeing during the pre-sale were still available and prices were slashed significantly, considering that it's just the first week of the sale! Jackpot! The faux crocodile skin court shoes and studded ombre top in these photos are just two of the items I ended up taking home with me. I think I should head back to Zara in a few weeks, once the prices have fully dropped for the final markdown. Oh jeez, I wonder what I would end up with. I hope I could score double discounts again. That would be awesome!

Blue Baroque

Jacket: Romwe / Top: The Ramp / Shorts: Details By Details / Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim / Shoes: Zara / Earrings: SM Accessories

This is what I actually wore to our annual big family reunion on Christmas Day. The outfit is nothing really fancy and is definitely atypical of what one would normally wear to a family Christmas celebration (i.e. a pretty dress or a chic red-infused outfit). I went for a casual look since I knew I would be moving around a lot, such as engaging myself in parlor games and chasing after the little ones. I'm still not over the baroque print and this pair of Details By Details shorts in a lovely shade of cobalt blue somehow gives off a festive holiday vibe with it's gold baroque design, don't you think?
