This is an outfit I can definitely see myself wearing in a music festival (with colder weather please). When you want to add some edge to a dainty dress, you can't go wrong with a leather jacket and some cool specs. A pair of wedge booties doesn't hurt either. I swear, these wedges are super comfy. I can walk in them all day! And oh, check out the artsy shopper bag I'm toting. It's from the label, Inverted Commas, owned by fellow Chictopian, Francesco. The gorgeous redhead woman print was designed by Francesco himself. Didn't know he was an art genius!

Postura

Postura translates to posture. But in the Filipino colloquial, it means "well-dressed". Pioneered by four bloggers hailing from different fields (Sarah, David, Knox & Arianne), the Postura Project aims to promote local fashion and encourage Filipinos to wear something Filipino-made every day. To be invited to partake in this project is an honor. Although it doesn't need an invite, not even a whisper, to nudge me to promote local fashion because I do believe in the Filipinos' talents...and it should be celebrated. For this project, I wanted to showcase a product from one of my favorite local shoe brands -- Gold Dot. These Baxter wedges are one my favorite pairs from the brand. I was aiming for a polished grunge look (which is quite an oxymoron), hence the pairing of a leather jacket, cropped tee from Crow and no-frills shorts.
