What I wore to Day 6 of Philippine Fashion Week. This is also the same look that was published in Hanger, a Malaysian-based fashion magazine (will share a photo of the feature once I get a scanned copy). I got this knit dress from F21 for almost 70% off (such a great buy, I must say). I haven't seen any knit dress like it locally so I'm pretty stoked about this purchase. Even though the knit material is quite chunky and heavy, it's still comfortable to wear under Philippine weather...thanks to its sleeveless design! I channeled a bit of an Alexander Wang SS '09 look with this knit dress. Paired it with my favorite stinky beanie and my beloved Soule Phenomenon wedges for a look that's simple but a bit rugged.

Finally, the prayers of all Pinoy fashionistas living in the South have been answered!

Forever 21 opened a new branch in the heart of Makati City last April 7 and I must say, the launch event was very successful and a well-attended one. Kudos to Jane Kingsu and her hardworking team!

P.S. I ended up with quite a few goodies from the VIP launch, namely: a lace bra (in black & peach), a sheer knitted top and some hot peach shorts! Will post photos wearing these items soon.

I’ve been eyeing these harem pants in the F21 online store since last year. They got sold out online so fast, leaving me quite frustrated. Luckily, the F21 store here stocked up on these pants so I was able to finally get my hands on them. And the best thing was, I got them during last year’s sale and they were pretty dirt cheap! I got them for only P359 ($8). Oh, the fashion gods must be on my side that day! And oh, I finally got to try the bun hairdo. I know it may not be the best look for me but this week is pretty darn hectic and I don’t want my hair getting in the way of things that need to be done el pronto.
