After an almost two-month absence, I think this post (or rather, I) deserve a slow thunder clap. Did you guys miss meeeeee? Or do you even still remember me? Obviously, apologies are in order. I'm sorry, my dear readers, for deserting you for too long (*cue in the melodramatic music*). No, I didn't go into a coma. Neither did I get cast away in an island (although I wouldn't mind lazying off in a dreamy tropical island surrounded by deep cerulean waters and soft sand). I've just been drowning in a sea...no, make that an ocean, of work. Well, what's new? The next time I go MIA...again, you know what's up.

So, now that the whole plea of guilty is out of the way, let's proceed with the actual post, shall we? I'll keep it short and sweet.

My love affair with culottes is very much in full effect. Remember my previous culottes outfit post HERE? Well, this cropped top + culottes combo is obviously an outfit that's a season late, worn during the early days of summer. Now that the dreary rainy season has commenced, expect to see pairings of these culottes with chunky sweaters and leather jackets. To be honest though, I'm still not over summer. I reckon it ended too soon (I still have a couple of overdue summer-worthy outfit posts). But adjust, we must. Speaking of adjustments, I'm going back-to-basics -- think sneakers, jeans, lazy trousers, plain-colored separates and simple silhouettes. Expect more minimalist looks in upcoming posts...just because I've really turned into a sloth who can't be bothered with over-analyzed fashion.
