My first-ever Bazooka Rocks experience, in photos...

It was last year when I first got wind of Bazooka Rocks. The promotional material I saw on it described the event as a gathering of local and international rocks bands playing in one massive concert. It's like Coachella, but of the rock variety (or maybe not!) and done indoors. And you know me, I'm (almost) always game for any sort of music event. I was on the verge of attending the 1st Bazooka Rocks but due to scheduling conflicts, I had to let it go. So when Lee Jeans Philippines invited me to attend Bazooka Rocks this year, I couldn't pass up on the offer.

Ever the curious cat, I wondered how this event would differ from the past music events I've been to (aside from the fact, of course, that it only featured rocks bands). Having a bird's eye view of Bazooka Rocks from the Lee Jeans viewing deck was a different but a welcome experience for me. I got to witness and appreciate not only the different bands' performances but also the pumped-up crowd's reaction to the music as they raised their fists, yelled and cheered, swayed and jumped. It was an amazing sight. And of course, being in the company of friends made the rock concert even more enjoyable.

Thank you, Lee Jeans, for the wonderful rock concert experience! #LeeStayCurious

  1. Ahhh!!!!! Anberlin is one of my favorite bands!!! I've been a fan of theirs for years and I've seen them in concert a few times. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is another favorite of mine. I've seen them live too and they put on a great show. You would think living in Portland, most bands would schedule stops here, but they totally bypass us. It stinks! Looks like you had a ton of fun though! <3

    1. No kidding! I thought we're always the last one to get a visit from these international bands. I guess we're lucky then!

  3. I envy you so much because I wasn't able to go to Bazooka Rocks this year. Sadly I wasn't able to see We Came as Romans. The concert was a blast but since you took really fantastic pictures, I think I was there... in spirit. Hahahaha
