Prom Ready

Tuesday, November 27, 2012

When I was in high school, I didn't get to go to the JS prom...because we didn't have any. We only had a graduation ball for Seniors. For my dress, I had to go to a seamstress and have one customized. I ended up with a very simple buttery gold gown with diamante straps and a slit on one side. Nowadays, it's easy to curate prom dresses from almost anywhere. If you don't have the time to get a dress customized, you can always go to specialty boutiques or order one online. Check out the variety of prom dresses I was able to find on the Net:

Short Prom Dresses:

My top pick would have to be the beaded dress on the left. It's so pretty and it looks so sophisticated as well.

Long Prom Dresses:

Love them all! My favorites though would have to be the first two dresses on the first row.

Looking at these prom dresses for 2013 makes me wish that my grad ball dress was as stunning as these are. Don't get me wrong, I do love my grad ball dress but I wish we had more options back then. The new generation of prom girls are very lucky to have these kinds of dresses readily available with the help of a credit card and a click of the mouse.
