(Dress: Factory by Erik Hart// Heels: Mango// Earrings: Roxanne Assoulin// Wing Cuff: Juicy Couture// Metal Belt: NAVA// Clutch: SM Accessories)
This lovely Factory dress has been patiently sitting inside my closet for months. I couldn't get myself to dusting them off and putting them on since there wasn't really a good enough occasion to do so...until an opportunity presented itself in the form of an event. About two weeks ago, I was invited to attend the 15th anniversary party of Cosmopolitan magazine. The attire read sexy formal and I figured that this black dress could pass of as something sexy, albeit not too formal. It has this deep plunging neckline that would have allowed me to bare my not-so-inviting decolletage...but being the semi-conservative "lady" that I am, I decided to put up the neckline higher (with the help of double-sided fabric adhesives, of course). To address the "formal" attire requirement, I polished off the look with gold-tone accessories: a gold clutch from SM Accessories (which I got for a steal), a gold metal belt and a pair of vintage Roxanne Assoulin drop earrings (which I got for a SUPER steal from a thrift shopping adventure years ago).
I'll share some photos from the event in a separate post. Stay tuned for my post on the Bloggers United Bazaar 3 as well. Stay safe, lovelies!
