Banana Island

Sunday, July 24, 2011

(Swimwear: Cole Vintage // Hat: from Bangkok)

These photos were taken on our 3rd day in Palawan. We spent the whole day in Banana Island -- a beautiful, secluded island with pristine blue green water and white, powdery sand. The water in the island is so clear that you if you just tilt your head down, you can already see a school of fishes. My friends and I spent our time lounging around, snorkeling, having a mini photo shoot beside gorgeous rock formations (haha!), playing frisbee and getting sunburnt without a care. We also saw the sun set down on our way back to the city. Mother Nature has such wonderful tricks up her sleeve to leave your jaw agape at her beauty.

See photos from Day 2 HERE.

P.S. Thank you so much to Cole Vintage for the lovely swimwear I wore in this post. I just love the 50's vibe of the bikini.Ladies, I definitely suggest that you check out the Cole Vintage shops (they have one in Ramp, Glorietta). The bikinis are just Php 899 (if I'm not mistaken) a pair!

Birthday Dinner

Tuesday, July 5, 2011

(Skirt & Top: H&M // Clutch: Cole Vintage // Necklace: Liz Claiborne // Shoes: Jessica Simpson)

As you get older, you tend to forego the trivial things and just settle for those that really matter such as love and good health, great friends and a loving family. And this is exactly the philosophy I observed when I celebrated my birthday last weekend. I just had a simple dinner with the boy and had a few drinks with friends last Saturday. Come Sunday, I spent lunch time with my family. No fancy parties. No flashy birthday outfit change. No lavish gift-giving. After all, all I really wished for on my birthday was the absence of stress. And it got granted. :)

A Fling With Animal Prints

Saturday, December 11, 2010

Dress: Archive Clothing / Shoes: Jessica Simpson / Clutch: Cole Vintage / Rings: Forever 21

Got this dress at a steal from Archive Clothing. I'm not so much into dresses but who could resist an animal print-chiffon dress with puffed sleeves and gold buttons? I know I couldn't. Wore this to Preview's Augmented Reality Press Conference last Thursday held at CAV, Fort Bonifacio. I got to meet the December ish cover girl, Solenn Heusaff, and was able to have a bit of chit chat with the Preview editorial staff as well.

More about Augmented Reality on my next post.
